Two quick carb questions.

Im certain of a few things, I have burned up my starter motor, my voltage regulator is not recharging my battery but does send a signal to the tach (Is that possible?), and I am not getting adequate fuel. Its a 94 force 40. Where can I go on a solid rant on this forum? Im actually kinda funny in real life, so itll be interesting for everyone. lol But first my question. Can I over tighten the Screw holding on my Carb bowl and what happens if i accidentally flip flopped the lines off of the fuel enricher feeding the carb?
