Had to replace the shifter on my 1998 CC with a Force 120 on it. The guy at the dealership sold me a 400.00 gen ll remote. Everything hooks up exept the cables. My cables have the round knob close to the end that fit in a slot to hold them. This new shifter does not have them. the cable won't even fit in the slot that goes in the back of the shifter. Will I have to replace the cables to. Also with the cables off of the engine looking at the shift linkage. What way is in forward or reverse. HELP and Thanks a Bunch!!
