I just picked up a boat with a 150hp force on It, wich will be my next rebuild/swap to my Capri, but the boat has a sfifter with the trim switch in the handle that I would like to remove and put on my 1800 Capri,
Does anybody know how the plate comes off to gain access to the mounting screws? I posted a pic, thx for any response in advance.

I think the black covers slide off to the rear and then the other to the front.

That 150 gonna do great things to that Capri!!
I have to ask?? is the 150 the same length as the other motor?
Same transom brackets?

Jerryjerry05, Im swapping powerheads only, I took the powerhead off this morning, and took a baseplate I had laying around from my 90/120 and it matches up to the leg on the 150, the top of base plate is what's different, it's the same leg, I thought might have had to swap legs too but nope I'm good, i can just switch the power head and bottom cowling to my leg and I'm all good, the 150 came off a 26' rendezvous, it's been sitting for the last 8yrs, practically got it for nothing, gonna clean up the hull tomorrow and sell it, the 150 had 150psi on all cylinders, so I'm gonna just tear it down over the winter do a light hone and new rings and put it on next spring, and yes I'm curious what it will do for my Capri, I've been looking for a complete 150 force for 8yrs and go figure I find one after I just rebuilt a 120 for it , oh well I'm gonna enjoy the 120 for the rest of the year and keep it for a spare when I put the 150 on, here is some pics of my Capri

What year is the 150?
The gear ratio is the same.
You just might need a different prop.
Something like a 21??
What's on the boat now?
