Force 150 tilt & trim

Does anybody know if I can adapt a tilt & trim from a 1989 Force 150hp to a Johnson 1969 115hp electric shift? They both have the twin arms for up and down. The Johnson had a power trim and the guy took it off. So I was hoping the one I have could work.

Sell the one you have and buy the right one.

That is probably what I will do if this doesn't work. But being short on funds I think I will try it first. Thanks for the reply.
