Hi
I am new to this site. I am changing the lower exhaust gasket found under the engine block and under the spacer plate.

These gaskets aren't being made anymore and I was told to use Permatex Ultra Copper and make my own. Does any one know if that will work? I have the upper exhaust gasket (this one still exists), do I need to use RTV on the gasket or just use it dry?

Also I would need the torque specs for the spacer plate as well as the torque specs for the engine block onto the exhaust? For when I will be ready to put it all back together.

If i'm not making any sense, just ask me questions and ill be happy to answer.

Thank you for all your help

Torque specs are universal.
A 3/8 bolt specs are the same anywhere you go.
http://www.boxwrench.net/ here's a site with specs for all size bolts.

Head bolts. 225in. # or 20#
Flywheel bolt 85-90#

No gasket between the spacer plate and the mid section.
I use black RTV.
The exhaust tube has a seal.
The F439736 .
E-bay $10
