Having difiiculty loosening the drain plug screws on a 1986 Chrysler Force 15 outboard. Any suggested techniques. Also, does anyone know if i can get replacement screw/washers for them? Unable to find any parts online.

I ground one out of an old extension and put on my "manual" impact driver, be careful not to hit it too hard, There is a lot of the same question on this forum with some good how too's, do a search on "how to remove stuck drain screw". good luck :)

Did you try a little penetrating oil? Is this a Salt Water Issue? I might have used an impact once due to the damage of the screw. That shock helps! I went back with a good screw and new seal on my 1970, 35 HP Chrysler in 1984 and it has been good since. Good Luck!!!

Use a small propane torch.
It's full of liquid so you can't hurt it.
Get it as hot and it should come loose easy.

The original washer are a plastic crush type washer that's supposed to be used 1 time and thrown away.
I use Mercury's fiber washers.19183 about $.85 each
They can be used again and again.
OMC used flat plastic washers, JUNK!!
