1 pint to 6 gal.
Install a filter between either the tank and the pump or the pump and the carb.
The longer the hose the harder the draw from the tank.
A long hose??? install filter between the carb and the pump.

FYI
Lower unit.
There could be a slotted screw on the SIDE of the lower unit.
DO NOT REMOVE!!
It's a pivot pin for the shift linkage.
It's a real pain to reinstall if it's been removed.
The drain plug could be? a small allen head screw on the bottom.
Or a slotted screw on the bottom.
It takes 90w oil.

I don't see a pivot pin but there is an allen head screw on the bottom of the "nose" cone. It can't be a drain plug because it has a drain plug on the side and a vent plug. So does the allen head screw going straight upwards have somethingbtondo with the shift rod? It looks like it is in line with the shift rod.

The plug on the bottom IS the drain.
In the pic, this is the pivot pin.

The 20Hp does not have a pivo pin.
The gearshift works in another way than the lager Chrysler engines.
At the end of the shiftrod there is a "steel brick" cam with three groves. Depending on how far you move the shiftrod (up or down) a springloaded rod in the propshaft pushes by the groves the clutch back or forth.

The allen head screw at the LU hold the bottom housing of the gearcase to the upper housing.
The case is a 2 piece typ.
