waters jacket gasket 150 horsepower Force

I have a 1989 Ford 150 horsepower. I finally got it started but it was shooting water from under the block. if you were to stand in back of the motor on the left side on the block water was coming out like a waterfall underneath . I was told it was the cooling jacket gasket. but everything I read mentioned if it was the water jacket gasket there would be water in the cylinders and not coming from under the block. could this be a cracked block..any help would be appreciated could a bad water jacket gasket cause this much water to leave or is there a hose im missing or something

There are 3 gaskets that seal the manifold.
The one on the outside could be bad and leaking water??
