Thanks again Mercury for the usual confusion. We know that the motor is a 75HP 1999 model from the label on the block. The transom mount has a label with nothing on it. The manual calls for 093699 and later-120 inch lbs. up to serial number 093699-170 inch lbs. They do the same for the cylinder head bolts.
Can anyone help me on this.

Just based on the serial numbers and the year of your motor (1999), I would "guess" that it would most likely be 093699 and later, since 1999 was the last year of manufacture for that motor.

Are you using a SELOC manual? If so next to the 120 in lbs line there is a footnote#1. If you look at the end of the "Powerhead Torque Specifications" section page 7-38 footnote 1, it says "Torque the bolt to specification (120 in-lbs), then turn an additional 1/4 turn."

Thanks pnwboat. Did not know that was the last production year. Looked in all the usual net places and in some cases this model year is not listed. 120 it is then +1/4.
Thanks again.
