Everything was going great, no previous issues then all of a sudden reverse would not engage. Forward was working fine and was tubing for a while. We stopped and took cowl off and checked linkage and forward quite working. We finally got it to engage and head in. Stopped before dock and forward quite again until the shifter was pushed way forward then it popped in hard. Unhooked linkage at dock and could not manually get it into gear. It seems really easy to move like it isn't doing much. Tried looking for a parts breakdown but the ones I find don't seem to look like mine. I have a square shaft that the linkage seems to be attached to? Going to pull from water. Any ideas or breakdowns out there??
