Now I have a q? I found the old sparkplugs and they are gapped at 45. I put new ones that are gapped at 30. Now last year end if season it ran awesome no issues. Beginning of this season I changed plugs and right around that time is when it started running funny. They were gapped 30 where it's recommended to be. Now could that be the issue that it needs to be at 45 not 30. Could that be the issue. I will put the old plugs in and take it out Friday or Sat to see since I have rain next two daya

The prop even the ones with shear pin has the rubber hub.
It's like a shock absorber.
It's pressed in under 20ton of pressure.

All prop shafts have the grooves or splines.
The hub slides on the splines.
You hit something and the hub breaks loose.
Otherwise the prop shaft or driveshaft breaks and costs lot more b$$$

The pic is a hub from a small hp prop.

Do the test and scribe a line on the hub and see what happens.
