The force 50 had a 10x 12.

Will a 10/3/8 x 13 be to much for 50 hp.

I know the taller Pitch is for higher speed. That is not mt intent

I can replace it for $49, for a nos Prop

There is enough clearance for the 3/16th longer radius

Usage will be mostly used for slow cruising thru the Florida Mangroves, at Idle .

i don't see a problem. Guessing you don't have a tachometer but you are talking a very little change.

What rpm are you running now at wide open throttle. As long as it stays in the recommended rpm range you should be okay.

This is a boat that I picked up for $500 with trailer, Replaced the transom- floor, has not been in the water since restoration.. Rebuilt the motor, so I have no idea what the Rpm range.

Do any of you know the recommended power range of the 1988 Force 50 HP

The earlier Chrysler 45 and 55Hp which the Force 50Hp is developed from (base construction) had stock props 10 3/8 x11, 10 3/8 x 12 and 10 3/8 x 13.
Then it depends on what boat you have (weight, length and load).
The recommended rpm is about 4800-5200 for best performance.
