I only had a speedometer and a broken voltmeter. Just keeping all options open. I found a rebuilt 70 hp Johnson complete with controls for $1500. Really cheap for Canada.
Don't buy the rebuilt Johnny, you don't know what your buying, your better off to rebuild your own motor.
I would get a Yamaha 4 stroke EFI/fuel injectors if it's within your boating budget.
The Chrysler 120 is a beast. It turned over but did not start. Finally took it off today for further testing and to repair a badly damaged transom
. The motor cover has the Chrysler 120 in trim. All the trim would have to be removed and replaced with a 70 or 90hp decal from somewhere. That's to keep it on the legal side.
