Force 50hp 1989 timming place

Where is the timing screw located on a 89 50hp force? Does anyone have a picture? Icant seem to find it.its the one with a black hood cover if that helps.

We have a 125hp with a CDI ignition are timing screw is at the top of the tower shaft close to the underside of fly wheel connected to the trigger.

At the Force 50Hp you adjust the length of the rod that moves the timingplate.
It is similar to the attached pics of a 125Hp and the location is similar as well.

BUT you have to unscrew the screw that holds the rod to the timingtower and length or shorten the rod by turning the connector cw or ccw.

WHY????? are you adjusting the timing???
​Usually there is no need to tamper with the timing?

Unless you change the trigger the timing doesn't move???
