'89 85 HP Force

Hey guys,

I'm installing a new stator on an '89 85hp Force, and I'm not sure if it matters whether which green/yellow wires goes to the rectifier's positive/negative terminals. They're both green and yellow, so I'm assuming it doesn't matter if it's in the positive or negative terminal on the rectifier, but I just want to check with you guys. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

You are correct, either of the green can be connected to any input terminals of the rectifier. It's an AC circuit so polarity doesn't matter.

Make sure you use Locktite.
