Hi,

My prop has no pitch marking, just a number stamped 06744!!!
Well, I found this very cool website on the net which includes a calculator , templates and an instruction video to measure the pitch of a propeller.

I just wanted to pass it along and sorry if this has already been covered here somewhere.

Cheers.

i would agree with you it's a 17 pitch - my boat had that pitch when I got it and turned about 4800 rpm just like yours - ski pull was just OK. Going to a 15p put me about 5300 and slalom was then not a problem.

Skidad, can't wait to try the 15p still waiting for the spacer to be delivered.
With the 17p could barely get out with the slalom ski....

BTW : how's your motor running now?

She's running good! I've been playing with my carbs this weekend to see the best fuel mixture but in the end I went back to my tried and true 1 turn out. Water should be "warm" enough to ski next weekend up north.
