my guesstimate is 5000 rpm. But my real question is what is wrong with with 48 mph with the Chrysler lower unit ? That's hauling on a 30 year old boat.

i just wanted the correct lower unit on the motor but it really over powers the prop now, i think im set on a turning point hustler aluminum prop 13by 19 pitch 4 blade or a mercury 12.75 by 21 pitch stainless . i had a turning point 4 blade on my 125 and loved how it got out of the hole and all around performance. Im hoping to get the 150 between 5300 and 5500 wot .
