Sorry guys I'm on my phone so this will be short and sweet.

I have a 2001 1730 CC Seaswirl Striper with a 90 hp Johnson. Wife lost the boat keys so I took out the ignition to take to the lock smith. I had been having trouble with the neutral throttle button so I took out the throttle box while I was at it. Several components were rusted through/broken. Decided the best thing to do is just replace the entire assembly. There is too much corrosion to even get the parts off that I need to replace. I believe OMC part number: 0176373 is the assembly I currently have. It has 6 wires going to the ignition and 2 wires going to a flat connector about an inch wide maybe 1/8" thick. I think http://epc.brp.com/Index.aspx?lang=...-b520-28509ff575a6&brands=ej&dealerlocator=no is the current assembly I have. I was thinking http://www.amazon.com/BRP-Johnson-Evinrude-Outboard-Binnacle/dp/B001KXTXWW would be a suitable alternative. Never done any wiring or remove/replace of this magnitude so really am looking for something I can just plug in the connector/cables and mount in the same place. Do any of you experts think this will work or have a better part number for me?

What exactly are you getting with that " amazon " control box ?----------It says that you must obtain an ignition switch seperately.-----------What about other wiring as none is shown ?

I believe it's just the box itself. I still have the wiring and my old ignition in place.
