1971 Johnson 85 hp w/Morse single lever

This should be easy. I replaced throttle cable with Teleflex, looks like everything is operating at the motor as it should. My problem is when I turn the key, nothing. The neutral safety switch looks to be operating as it should, and it looks Ok, but nothing when I turn key. What am I missing?

Looks mean nothing. Get out your multimeter and make some voltage tests. But first, check the fuse in the red wire, near the starter solenoid.
