My 18; Larson with mercruiser i/o pulls to left. I have tried moving trim plate but still pulls although I think it is better. Any suggestions? There are 2 adjustable dials on side of outdrive but have no idea what they do, They are on different wheel settings. Thanks,

Howdy

Sounds like you don't have power steering so the only thing you can adjust is the trim tab anode

Now the pieces on the sides of the gimbal rind are the trim limit switch (port side) and trim gauge sender (starboard side), and they have nothing to do with steering

Thanks. There is also a a plastic 'fin' on each side of lower unit that sticks out about 4". I am going to remove that today and see if that makes a difference.

A misadjust trim tab, like the one shown above can cause a pull. so can to much outward/upward power trim. A bent or twisted skeg can also be an issue
