Hyd. steering excess play.

Just repowered with a 2002 225 and used the hyd. steering I had prior.
It turns but when setting you can move the motor back and forth about 1-2 inches.
All the connections are tight.
​The steering seems to move back and forth in the cyl.
​The motors I had before ere solid and never moved.

I think I bled the system right.

Any ideas?

Ayuh,.... If ya find no loose mechanical connections, I gotta guess there's still an air bubble in the hyd. side of the system,....

most likely air in the system.

​I thought I'd bled it, but maybe not enough??
