Hi guys. I have a '69 Mercruiser 120, which has a K20 outdrive. I have the boat completely stripped down so I can replace the floor, among other things (see attached photo).
I figure that while it's in this state that I should replace the trim hoses since they're harder to get to when the boat's put together, plus they're over 40 years old. I want to know what the best way to replace them is. The only way I can see to get at them is to completely take the outdrive off of the transom. Otherwise, it's just hard to reach. does anyone know any easier way? Thanks.

With going that far I would remove the motor and transom assembly. This way you can have a good look at the transom and install a new gasket seal. To remove the trim hoses, you remove the manifold at the bottom of the transom assembly on the outside of the boat
