I have an old quicksilver box and a1981 mercury 2 stroke that needed new throttle and shift cables. I ordered them and went to install them but when I try and install the throttle cable I run out of threads to adjust at the motor side if I could adjust the grommet at the control box side it might work. Is this possible? If not what am I missing? Thanks in advance
