75 Evinrude Control Cable End Replacement. HELP!!

I'm trying to replace my extremely worn cables. I bought a set off of iboat but it didn't come with ends. After doing some research, they say to just simply remove my old ones and re use them. My old ends are crimped on. I was able to drill out the cable clamps on the motor side and purchase re-useable ones from ebay. I can't find the controls side replacement ends. My only thought as of ight now is to cut the cable, drill out the end, and tap some set screws into the end. Has anyone else gone through this before?? Thanks

Turns out my 1975 motor has newer controls on it, therefore instead of using the 400 series cables it has the 479 series.... I wish Iboats had better details when looking for parts. I found a cable identification guide from an outside source and was able to identify the correct cables that way.
