I have a 2004 Doral intrigue with 5.7 Volvo penta i/o drives. . My control Shifters get really tight once the boat warms up. It takes two hands to pull it Into neutral. My mechanic thought it was the Shifter cables going to the drives. Now that he has the boat out of the water he says the cables are moving freely. He now wants to replace the shifter. Any thoughts on this?
