How to lube cables

Here's the way I did it. Drilled a small hole in brass cable transition and used Abu Garcia silicote Reel Oil

Not bad, like the idea. I hope you can let us know how it's working after a couple seasons

Seeing as it is a built-in system I was hoping to get a little bit of lube in. Shift was fine. Throttle was a little stiff just off idle. Positioned the cable to have lube run towards the control. So far so good.

If it can run down the cable towards the other end, great deal. Any lude will be welcomed with those type cables. :thumb:

Thanks gm. I thought the same thing as well. To remove the cables will require a lot of disassembly that would not be much fun in the rain.
