TOHATSU 2 stroke 9.8b HP steering system how to?

Hi... I been checking that tohatsu have a speed and direction remote control for my motor.. but wanted to use a teleflex in it, because now I have a Pulley system that im shure is not going to last for ever.. so I want the option an reability of the teleflex or any option that you guys can give me to make this happen..

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... I'm guessin' yer motor is a tiller steer, twist throttle now,....

Is it set up to be able to use remote throttle, shift, 'n steerin',..??
