I need to replace the steering cable in my Shoal Runner Predator aluminum bass boat. It is 2005 model so I have to replace the whole system. I here a rack works best with a berkeley style pump. I have the required 19+ inches of space between the steering post and the gunnel but only if I can mount the rack angled down, as it attaches to the cowel; which is higher than the gunnel. If the rack has to mount horizontal, I will have to use a rotary system. Anybody tried one in their bass boat?
