Hey guys,
Wanted to run something past you all and see if it made sense. My starboard motor was having some trouble trimming lately, so I called up a mechanic. He came by and said it sounded low on trim lube and just needed to be topped off. He put some in and then noticed the lube coming out of the bottom of the trim/tilt pump. He said the entire assembly needs to be replaced, the trim motor, pump, rams, etc.. Is this the case? Can anyone confirm that if the pump is bad, the entire trim/tilt unit needs to be replaced?
