I have a 93 18 ft ProCraft Bass Boat with a SeaStar I hydraulic steering system installed. I have noticed over the last few years it leaks a little so I started investigating. After further inspection, the hoses are being kinked from trimming the motor up to the tow position. With the motor in the down position, the hoses go straight into the front of the outboard. Would it hurt to put 90 degree right angle fittings on the Ram fittings so the hoses wouldn't get kinked on tilt up? TIA

Shouldn't bother it a bit. Just be sure to bleed the system properly when you are done installing them.
