I have an old Johnson Ship-Master two lever control, and my cables are getting a little sticky. Well i waited too long to lube them up and while I was throttling up I stripped the plastic rack on the lever end of the cable.... i havent had a chance to take it off and apart to assess the damage, and for the life of me i cannot find a replacement part online. Does anyone know where i can get one online?

thanks for the help

probably going to have to replace the whole cable especially if they are getting stiff .

:welcome: Zeltron to iboats....

I have a two control Johnson Ship Master control myself. But I can't think of what you are referring to with the "Plastic Rack" on the cable end. I actually bought new parts for mine but I don't know if yours is the same or not. Post a picture of the control and the broken part...

This is the one I refurbished and they're still parts available for it...

Not sure but I think he is referring to the black plastic barrel that mounts to the engine and is used to adjust the cable.
