Lowrance fish finder issue

I get a lot of vertical black lines top to bottom on my screen and they just keep showing up evenly spaced as the chart moves along... Is this a setting issue or a transducer problem? Thanks for the help

Ya in a bunch of weeds. Hows it work deeper? Other then that i got no idea

That's pretty shallow. If it works fine a little deeper I wouldn't worry about it. Real shallow they can send erratic signals.... It's possible the head unit is not good anymore. If it still shows lines in deeper water, try turning down the sensitivity and see if that makes a difference....

I couldn't get into anything any deeper than 6 feet today it seemed lol... New lake so I wasn't sure where to get deeper. I'll have to go try try it out in deeper water and I'll let ya's know.

If the transducer is bad the depth readout will flash signifying it's not getting valid data from the transducer. Not the case here.

I suspect the units' power supply or the display is on it's way out. How old is the unit?
