What is the opinion on getting the cord remote that installs in the rear of the boat versus the RF remote. I have the Clarion M303 and was wondering the pros and cons of the two remotes. The mounted remote is 128.14 plus 22.00 for the cord whereas the RF remote is 99.18.

Welcome to iboats!:welcome:

The RF unit will save you $50 and will be easier to install (no wiring to tun). The only drawbacks would be the need to replace the batties in the remote every few years. Of course, you'll have to mount the remote close enough to the head unit to function.
