I was out boating today in less than ideal conditions. The boat slammed the water after hitting a wave and the engine shut off. When I tried to restart the alarm sounded when the key was turned on and will stay on continuous. The motor doesn't have any spark and ultimately I was towed in. All of the wires under the dash seem to be in order. The wires on the motor seem to be fine as well. I found that when I disconnected the 20amp fuse coming off the starter solenoid the alarm turned off buts leaves me with no power to the starter. no idea what's wrong.
