lowrance X-75 not reading at mid speeds

I have an X-75 and at mid speeds on auto the depth chart value goes to a very different depth witch I don't even think the unit was made to read and has no bottom reading,thanks for any info

Sounds like your transducer is not installed correctly

I know it is weird because it will work fine in most other conditions,the lake I have a problem with is deep and clear,would that have anything to do with it,thanks
