Perko Fig. 970 Replacement?

I have removed an old PERKO "Fig. 970" 2-pin, round light post base and can't find a replacement. It's 2 3/8" in diameter and every other round base is 2 1/4. I'd like to use the same screw holes. I've tried Attwood, Perko, and others, even old stock from eBay. Any help / ideas?

Searched for "Perko Fig. 1045DP" here over in the parts side, but can't find it, said "Sorry, we couldn't find anything that matched your search."

1045-P00-DP is 2 1/4 inches which is not wide enough. Should I go with a different shape like the rectangular?

To close the loop; the teardrop shaped Perko 1048P0SDP fit nicely.
