For now I'm looking at just moving my fish finder off the starter but eventually I'll move it all off. Do you guys think something like the "UPG 85980/D5722 Sealed Lead Acid Battery (12V; 35 AH; UB12350)" should be sufficient (or complete overkill?) for all my auxiliary needs? We generally only go for 4-6 hours at a time. It's all fresh water on a lake. I was just going to place this battery inside the center console my boat. Do need any kind of special charger for a sealed lead-acid battery or will the spare "battery tender" brand 12v charger I have work ok?

It depends on the load and in the scheme of things, 35 AH isn't much if your powering a lot of electronics.

Total your amps requirements then multiply by your expected hours of usage. Take that number and double it for your battery size.
