rectifier question

i now have a 4 wire rectifier does that mean it is a 3 phase rect or did they just bring a -ground wire out instead of case ground thanks for your reply:):)

Probably just a four wire w isolated case. The gnd terminal should have a "-" mark and not to be confused w either "~" marks for the AC terminals.

:sorry: i was complaining about people not following up on post,got to looking and i was those people:doh: sam am i i found the test, IN MY SERVICE MANUAL again i goofed ,any way it is not an isolated ground case is still the ground - the stator has yellow ,yellow/grey and yellow/blue wires to match the same on rectifier. s/m shows a diagram not 3 phase looks like open y or something thanks again for the help:redface-new:
