Hi there
I'm looking at installing a navman fish finder (Fish 4200) with the fuel flow transducer and was reading some specs about it. Its states:
Back pressure* generated by the fuel sensor on the feed line: ½ inch/mercury with a 19.8 US gallons/hour (75 litres/hour) consumption, 1 inch/mercury with a 39.5 US gallons/hour (150 litres/hour) consumption.
*To be checked vs. the maximum back pressure your engine can bear.
I've got a 1976 Merc 850 (85hp) and was wondering if I could fit this to my fuel line without doing any damage or how I could find out the maximum backpressure this motor can handle? Any advice anyone can offer would be great.
The fuel transducer i want to fit is NAVMAN AA002276R SINGLE ENGINE FUEL KIT F/4200
