Bank #1 says it's for "trolling battery #1". Bank #2 says it's for the "starter battery". Bank #3 says it's for "trolling battery #2"". Right now, I am troubleshooting bank #1 because it doesn't seem to be working, but the other two banks seem okay. If, indeed, bank #1 is shot, I am wondering if I can hook up my #1 trolling battery to Bank #2, even though bank #2 states that is is for the "starter battery". Will this cause any problems? I don't see a need for the starter battery to be hooked up to the charger at all since it gets recharged when I run the motor.

I think they label them for conveniece so you know what is hooked up to where. If the output from all three banks is the same then it really should not matter. Marine trollling and starting batteries can be charged the same way.

Thanks Merc. That's pretty much what I thought, but I needed an assurance vote of confidance! :)
