I have a ST50 and the speed triducer insert broke off right above where the wheel starts. I have contacted Airmar about a replacement and have had no help. I have been told I need to measure the old one to get a replacement. This can't be done as it is broken. I am hoping someone out there has had to replace theirs in a fairly large fiberglass hull boat and can give me an idea of what I need. I do not need to replace the whole transducer, just need the a replacement or spare thru hull speed only triducer (as airmar calls them).

Thanks

Bluewater70c,
I would suggest that you contact a supplier for the Airmar replacement parts, talk with the service rep and come up with a potential replacement part decision. One possible resource could be the repair department at West Marine, or a local marine electronics service company in your area. Good luck, be safe!
