I have an old lowrance globalmap1000 fixed mount unit. It hasnt been used in a while. When i tried to install it i get a message ' gps coupler not responding'. Is there an easy way to test the antenna is functioning? I have tried fiddling with the connections- they look ok. If is not working, are there any other economical options for getting the gps working again?<br />any advice greatefully received. <br />many thanks!
