I have an 18 foot boat that I'm thinking about putting on the stern mounted Lenco trolling motors (from lencomarine.com). Looking for others comments who currently have them. Should I get the trim tab ones or the non-trim tab ones? I love the idea of these now with the foot control. Pull into my favorite fishing spot hit the dash button to lower the motors and I'm doing foot controlled electric fishing. Hit the up button and I can zip off via main gas motor to the next spot. At the dock I get twin engine boat control to boot. <br />Rumor is someone has a dislike of these? How bad are they in waves?

almost everything I ever saw by lenco failed. I no longer install any lenco products. its just a personal opinion. but seems the water proofing on the cyl and the quality of the switches is lacking. just a personal opinion though.
