Navman 2100 Fuel system

Am unable to run fuel flow cable from transom to center console ( connector hangs up ). Tried contacting Navman(2x)e-mail no luck - about possibility of cutting cable and spliceing or maybe extracting pins from connector, run cable, then insert pins back in conn. Any ideas, comments,knowledge about this situation. Welcome any info. Thanks in advance. Anything from Downunder??

I wouldn't recommend playing with the connector - the pins are fragile.<br />If the cut & join is done correctly (good soldering & water tight seal) its not a problem. The only issue in Australia is voiding the warranty because it will no longer be 'as supplied' - don't know about your warranty conditions.<br /><br />I did it to mine to shorten it.<br /><br />Aldo

Dunaruna: No warranty concerns. Knowing what the circuit is I figured cut and splice was the best way. Thanks for quick response. Still can't figure why Navman hasn't answered my e-mails(2x).<br />Once again thanks.
