eagle fish finder

I have an Eagle Ultra Classic fishfinder that was working fine until the past couple of days. When I power the unit off the screen turns a purple color and the unit stays on. Has anyone heard of this and do you have an answer? Eagle told me it might be my battery which doesn't make any sense.<br />Ratturdtea [/LIST]

check all your connections and fuses for corrosion sounds like u might have a bad connection some where. but might not show up untill its underload from the fish finder what i mean is just because it lights up a test light does not mean it will run a fish finder i have been though this and learned the hard way

Changed out the battery and everything worked. I still dont know how that helped as the battery would still start the engine.<br />Ratturdtea
