What size batteries in 2007 Bass Tracker Pro Crappie?

Bought a Pro Crappie and the batteries were discarded for the 50hp motor and trolling motor. What size and type battery do I need for each one? Do the lights run off the outboard battery or the trolling battery? Is a normal car type battery better for the outboard and a deep cycle for the trolling motor? Thanks for any help you can provide.

A Marine Starting battery for the main motor. Deep Cycle(s) for the trolling motor. As for size, that depends on what you want to spend (for the trolling motor). More Amp hours = longer run time. If the trolling motor is 12v you can hook up 2 deep cycles in parallel and double your amp hours.....sometimes that can be almost cheaper than buying a bigger deep cycle.

Lights and other accessories will generally run off of the main motor's battery.
