I've got Crestliner boat that I restored and now I need to hook up the stereo the ship to shore radio and the associated antennas. the boat has about 7 foot beam and two consoles so I am having difficulty maintaining the distances between electronics as I understood it. Hi currently have a ship to shore radio mounted on the main helm above my gauges. Directly next to that I have an hds7 combo unit. I could use some help in determining the best locations for my antennas so as not to have interference from one electronic to the other. I also need to mount my magnetic compass. the instructions tell me to keep it away from electronics and I do not have that kind of space on my console to permit that. I wonder if anyone has any experience with an accurate readings with a compass being mounted wihin a few inches of an electronic device.any other advice you might have a mounting these pieces of equipment would be very helpful. thanks in advance for your answers.
