Hello Everyone. I have a Humminbird Fishfinder 565 that Is currently mounted in my 17.5 foot Arrow Glass boat. The only sensor is the one for the imaging that is mounted. I recently bought the TS W Speed and Temp sensor to use with it. Does this sensor need to be mounted at the water line of the boat, or can it get mounted like 8 inches to the right of the depth sensor?

If you mount it at the water line, it will be high and dry when you were moving.
In order to measure the speed of the water, it will need to be mounted at the bottom edge of the transom so that the paddle wheel is in the water-flow coming from under the boat.

The sonar transducer should be mounted so it is also slightly Below the hull.
