Cheap troling motor mount

As I posted on pontoon thread, I want to use the trolling motor on pontoon also, being retired, I needed to come up with a cheap idea. This is what I came up with. I am going to use a thinner stile super strut on pontoon, and add a lock to idea.001.jpg

Ha, whatever works for you. Just be careful around the sharp edges so you don't get cuts... :thumb:

Yes, I know it looks bad, but if the motor is on the fishing boat, the struts will be covered, and if the motor is on the pontoon, the struts will also be covered, also I will take the struts off the pontoon if we are just using for cruising, or swimming.
