I have a Garmin GPSMAP 188 that uses a P66 dual frequency transducer. Can I use that transducer with a Garmin 541s GPS. The 541s does use a dual frequency 50/200 transducer but I am wondering if the transducer plug would connect with the 541s power cord.

Not sure what you mean by "connecting with the power cord" . The transducer has its own connector.
Both unit use the same transducer pin outs

The power/data cord I have with the 188 has a pig tail that the transducer cord connects to. Problem solved by ordering a Garmin 546S with a transducer. Going to be nice upgrade.
